In last week’s personal development post, Think to Get Fit – Creating the Weight Loss Mindset, we introduced the fact that there are certain Laws of the Universe that govern our lives. We cited gravity as and example, and we discussed the “Great Law” – Energy Is.

Today, we’ll take a look at The Law of Vibration – a “parent law” to the Law of Attraction.

The Law of Vibration states that everything vibrates and nothing rests. We live in an “ocean of motion.” Our bodies and all the physical things around us are simply masses of molecules vibrating at high rates of speed. However, unlike all the inanimate objects around us, we have the power to alter our vibration. Our thoughts control our vibration. In fact, the effect is so powerful we can actually measure it, but that’s a subject beyond this post. Just realize that the thoughts we choose set up the vibration we’re in.

Your thoughts control your vibration as well as your paradigms. Paradigms are essentially a multitude of habits developed by how you view the world around you – your perception – and they literally control everything you do. For example, maybe your mother was overweight and you look a lot like her. So, you assume that you will also be obese and cannot see yourself any other way. Therefore, the actions that you take (or don’t take) cause you to be obese. The result reinforces the paradigm and on and on it goes. With this example, you can see how closely tied the Law of Vibration is to the Law of Attraction. Essentially, the vibration your in attracts everything you get in life.

When you are not feeling good about yourself, become aware of what you are thinking and instead think of something pleasant that makes you think outside of that paradigm. As difficult as it may be, hold this more positive image on the screen of your mind and block out the negative thoughts. With the power of choice, you can change your thoughts and your feelings just like that. You can move from a negative and unsuccessful mindset to a positive and successful mindset in a flash. It is important to understand, until your thoughts and mind shift to a more pure and healthy image, you will never be able to have the success you desire when it comes to losing weight and getting fit.
