The Law of Gender

I’ve really enjoyed discussing the Universal Laws of Success and the importance of creating a weight loss mindset over the past couple months. While there are many Laws of the Universe, I chose to highlight six.

The sixth Law of the Universe that I want to discuss is the Law of Gender.
The Law of Gender decrees that all seeds have a gestation or incubation period. It takes approximately 180 days from the time the sperm and the egg meet up until the time a baby is born. It takes approximately 70 days for a carrot to grow. There are numerous examples we can come up with.
But, how does the Law of Gender affect goals, and more specifically weight loss goals?
When you choose a goal or build the image in your mind, a definite period of time must elapse before that image manifests in physical results. The problem is, there is no set formula for how long it will take to reach your goal. Sure, with weight loss we have general rules of 1-2 pounds per week, but that’s just not always the case.
I’ve had many clients who lost a dress size or two in a matter of a month, yet didn’t lose a pound. Why? They gained muscle and lost fat at an equal rate – outstanding! On the other hand, I’ve had some clients drop 20+ pounds in 6 – 8 weeks. And, then there are those clients who’s numbers and measurements don’t seem to budge for a couple months, but after sticking with the program a massive change seems to occur practically overnight. Remember the law of cause and effect. If you stick to the science of getting fit the results will come. We just can’t always predict when and how long they’ll take.
Bottom Line: BE PATIENT! STICK TO YOUR GUNS!! NEVER GIVE UP!!!
The most important thing you can do is practice daily at creating a weight loss mindset. Program your mind to get exactly what you want. All ideas move into form in the right time.

Wow! Did I need to hear this today!! I admit, I have gotten a little frustrated lately, about my “slow progress”. The seed is planted, and I’ve been watering the seed for a few months now, but I was getting frustrated waiting for something to “sprout”. I am that person who has been working for a few months, and the scale is only a few pounds lighter. However, I know I am getting stronger, and losing a few inches along the way. I just need to stick with it, and be patient! I also know that if this is a lifestyle change, there’s no need to morph overnight. It will happen. I just need to continue to have faith, and take ACTION! Thanks Justin! Great timing!!
..and remember to not weigh yourself everyday! It becomes frustrating, because these things take time, and as Justin said, you may stay the same weight for a few weeks or more, but it doesn’t mean you’re not getting fit–it just means you’re plateauing and then you’ll drop again. Obsessing over the scale is one way to drive yourself crazy.I just can’t believe how great EVERYONE is looking at bootcamp!
